Privacy Policy
In short: the game has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or location. Your progress is stored only on your device. Optional rewarded video ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use device data as described below. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Reminders are local notifications created on your iPhone. The web version on game portals works differently, see Web version.
Who we are
Event Horizon: Black Hole Idle (the "Game") is developed and published by Dmitrii Medvedev ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
Data the Game stores on your device
Your game progress (energy, mass, scales, upgrades, catalog, quests, statistics), settings (sound, music, vibration, motion) and owned purchases are saved locally on your iPhone. This data is never sent to us. Deleting the Game deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game offers optional rewarded videos, for example to double offline earnings or to call a body right away. Nothing forces you to watch them, and the Game shows no banners or interstitial ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:
- device and advertising identifiers (the IDFA only if you allow tracking in the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt),
- IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- ad interactions, diagnostics and performance data.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the Game asks for consent through Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time in the Game: Settings → Privacy settings. On iOS you can also turn off tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Google's use of data is described in its Privacy Policy and at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
In-app purchases
Purchases (for example No Ads, x2 Energy or dark matter packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details or Apple ID. The Game only learns which product was bought, so it can unlock it on your device.
Notifications
After you collect your first offline reward, the Game asks once whether it may send reminders (for example when your offline storage is full or a daily reward is waiting). If you allow it, these are local notifications: they are scheduled by the Game on your iPhone. There is no push server, and no data is sent anywhere to deliver them. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Event Horizon.
Web version
The Game is also published in the browser on game portals (Playgama and the sites Playgama distributes to). There it runs inside the portal's page through the Playgama Bridge SDK, and the sections above about AdMob, iOS, notifications and Apple do not apply. Instead:
- Progress is saved through the portal's storage, so the portal keeps it (for signed-in players, possibly in their portal account). We do not receive it.
- Ads are optional rewarded videos (and, on some portals, occasional ads at natural pauses), shown by the portal and its ad partners under the portal's own privacy policy and consent tools.
- Gameplay statistics: the Game reports anonymous events (for example reaching a new scale, a Big Bang, the result of a rewarded video and frame-rate samples) through the portal's analytics. They contain no name, email or other personal data.
- There are no purchases in the web version.
Please also read the privacy policy of the portal where you play.
What we do not do
- We do not run our own servers for the Game and do not collect analytics ourselves.
- We do not sell personal data.
- The Game has no chat, accounts or user-generated content.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Ads requested by the Game are configured to respect applicable consent requirements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. As we do not hold personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best handled through the privacy settings in the Game and Google's tools. You can still write to us at [email protected] and we will help.
Changes
We may update this policy when the Game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
